Six Month Challenge: End of Week Four

20 – 26 December 2020

I can’t believe that it is Christmas. I remember just going into quarantine in March. It’s crazy how this year has blown by. But this week was a bit hectic with people trying to cram a million things into the three days at work and I get that they want to get things wrapped up but c’mon dude. Is it really necessary? No. It’s not. It can wait until we get back.

I’m a little nervous to be alone for Christmas because it’s my first Christmas without any family and I am sad. I am fortunate though that Rhonda and Steve from CrossFit are wanting to get together on Christmas to have dinner and watch movies. It will be nice to be around people.

Also, I am still a bit sad, VK still hasn’t really talked to me. I’m not sure what happened or what changed. It is really hard to go from talking every day for six months to radio silence. I miss him. I know he’s going through a lot and maybe things will get back to how they were before but I just really liked how easy it was to talk to him. I liked having someone who liked the same music I did, had the same humor I did, and just made me look forward to the day. I can’t control it, so I’m trying to just let go and do my own thing.

Okay so here are the deets from the week:

Food

Food this week has been pretty good. I had Chinese on Christmas, but other than that everything was pretty on par and the same as the weeks before.

Breakfast
  • 5 eggs
  • Medium Pink Grapefruit
Lunch
  • 200g chicken with a little taco seasoning
  • 1 medium flour tortilla
  • 100g strawberries
  • 200g cottage cheese
Dinner
  • 200g top sirloin steak (from ButcherBox)
  • 1 medium Fuji Apple

Workouts

The workouts this week were pretty good. The gym was only doing open gyms on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. I loved that the time I went Rhonda, Steve, and Rob were there so we did the workouts together. That made it so much easier to get it done. But the workouts were not easy. We had the 12 Days of Christmas and a deconstructed Murph workout. ?
