Holy Moly this past week went by rather fast and my fear of being hungry wasn’t even an issue. I actually had issue with trying to finish all of my food. I was more focused on the pain I was experiencing in my muscles. You can tell that I move a lot slower these days, but I look forward to the day when my muscles are strong and can handle the exercises I am doing.
One thing that has been a bit frustrating is 24-hour Fitness’ layout of machines is absolutely confusing. Ridiculously confusing. I spend a lot of time wandering around trying to find things. I am getting better though, I spent a couple late nights at the gym when no one is there so that I could walk around and learn where everything is without looking creepy.
I did miss one workout this week. I was just too tired. I was working late and not getting any sleep so I ended up just crashing that Thursday night.
Some of my goals this week include:
- Drink more water – It’s been an easier transition to drink just water than I thought, though I’m not drinking as much water as I want. I would love to get to drinking a gallon a day.
- Stretch more – I’ve learned how short my muscles have become in my years of inactivity. I need to put in the work to lengthen them again.
- Pack all my lunches on Sunday – I ran into a bit of a problem this week trying to pack my lunches in the morning. It was stressful and something that I can handle better.
