In this blog, I’ll be sharing a quick and easy recipe for tomatillo salsa that you can make at home. Whether you’re using it as a topping for your tacos, a dip for your chips, or a marinade for your meat, this salsa is sure to add a burst of flavor to any dish. So, let’s get started!
Ingredients
12 Tomatillos
2 Jalapeños
½ Cup White Onion
½ Cup Cilantro
3 Cloves Garlic
2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
Salt to Taste
Directions
- Prepare your tomatillos by removing the outside leaves, the tomatillos will be sticky so make sure to have something to wipe your hands with after.
- Cut the tomatillos in half vertically, and place on the air fryer basket.
- Place in air fryer on BROIL for 30 minutes or until the tops of the tomatillos are dark brown almost black.
- While the tomatillos are broiling, cut up your onion, garlic, cilantro, and jalapenos. Also, juice your limes.
- Once the tomatillos are done broiling, place them along with all the other ingredients into the blender and pulse until you have a finely chopped and mixed blend.
- Add salt to taste.
- Refrigerate until you are ready to serve.
