I came across this post of a man who was afraid to go to the gym because he was rather large. He felt self conscious and didn’t want to go.
What does his friend do for him? He dresses up in completely ridiculous costumes to take the attention off of himself. Now that’s what I call friendship.
I don’t have a friend here that would do that for me. So I have to figure out what I can do to not be self conscious to get my ass in the gym. Once tactic I’m using is going early. People don’t normally start getting to the gym until 6 AM or 7 AM. So if I could get there around 5AM that would give me an extra hour to work hard and not worry about people noticing how large I am.
I’ve got to get started on this. My biggest problem is that I prep on Sundays and when I do that, I am up way too late and don’t get any sleep. I need to shift my prep days to Saturday so I can relax on Sundays and gear up to work out on Mondays. I have got to stop saying tomorrow.
