Things Not To Say To A Fat Person Losing Weight

I’m at a point now where my weight loss is noticeable. My clothes really aren’t fitting well though I’m not small enough to go into sizes that are smaller. This means people notice me pulling up my pants and my shirts hanging on me. Some of them have started saying things, like, “Wow, you’re losing weight” and “How much weight have you lost?”

While it’s nice and I’m extremely happy my effort is being noticed, it makes fat people even more self conscience. It makes them even more aware and just gets in our heads.

Here are some things to just stay away from if you are thinking about complementing a weight losing person. Just think of them like a lion eating on fresh killed prey.

  1. Should you be eating that?
I don’t question the shit you put in your mouth don’t question the shit I put in mine. I know, I know you are just looking out for my goals. Don’t . . . just silently judge in your head.
  2. Don’t you crave . . . ?
Yes fucker, I crave everything. I would love to sit and eat cake, ice cream and burgers all day but that’s how I got here. So, I’m trying to be better back off.
  3. I love food too much to do that.
Well it’s a good thing you aren’t doing this then fuck face. I can’t love greasy, fatty, sugary foods anymore because I’m old and need to focus on my health. So while you have no willpower, I’m trying to strengthen mine. Go away.
  4. Do you want some?
No asshole. What part of I am trying to change my lifestyle do you not understand? I don’t want your fucking food. I have diligently packed seven days worth of food that I will eat. No more, no less. Got it?
  5. You’re going to eat all that?
Yes, dip shit. You know why? Because my giant heapings of fruits and veggies still come no where close to the caloric intake of the mayo on your sandwich. So I’m going to sit here and devour every little morsel of food.

It may sound like losing weight makes me an angry person . . . and it does sometimes. Though, it comes from a bitter resentment that fast food doesn’t carry the nutrients needed to sustain life. I want bread, donuts, burgers, ice cream and any other food that isn’t good for you. Though I want to live for a long time. I don’t want health issues. I want to have a family and see it grow.

From now on, that will always out be more important than those foods. So be nice to your family, friends and co-workers that are trying to feed their bodies right, otherwise they might punch you in the throat.
