Hustle for that muscle.



Welcome to week five of working out and week three of nutrition. I can’t believe how fast and slow time is moving at the same time. I haven’t had a carb in 16 days. Before you say anything, know that I am under the supervision of a nutritionist and a trainer. Also, I’m eating a FUCK TON of food right now. I eat two and a half pounds of protein and ten cups of veggies a day. Some days it’s really hard to eat all that food. Have you ever eaten 12 egg whites for breakfast plus two cups of veggies? It’s not easy.


My workouts are moving along. I’m gaining my strength back pretty quickly. I’m still not lifting as heavy as AZ. She makes it look so easy. One day, I will get there though. There are some exercises where my stomach gets in the way. It makes me pretty sad, embarrassed, and really wanting to run and sit in a hole. Now I know I can’t do that, but when you’re surrounded by hot ripped men, the last thing you want them to see is a fatty who can’t reach the bar on the ground because of her gut.


In general, life is going well. There are some annoying things happening, but I really think that it’s just me adjusting to my diet and workout schedule that I have to add into an already busy schedule. My day job is moving along, we are switching projects right now to focus on a different topic so that’s kind of nice. At the same time, it’s a bit hard because everyone is flailing a bit to get our footing under us and that can be stressful at times.

I’ve been hanging out with friends more and more lately and I really love it. I wish my friends didn’t smoke though. I hate being around the smoke.
