Is this true for anyone else?! I am definitely a bit freaked out about this coming Saturday. I signed up for my first 5k of the year! ? Yes, it’s only a 5k, 3-ish miles. But you have to remember my ass sits in a chair ALL DAY LONG. I haven’t exercised hard in years at this point and I’m about to go try to move my 288 pound body for 3.1 miles.
Now that you know I’m freaking out on this side of the internet, here’s what I’m going to do about it. I’m going to train myself the best I can in one week.
Treadmill daily with a mixture of walking and running just to get my lungs prepped for the lovely event. I know I shouldn’t have procrastinated this long, but that’s really what I do. I procrastinate. UGH!! At least it should put up a time that will be easy to improve upon. ?
I am excited though too, there are so many people at the RNRAZ. It’s going to be a good time regardless. I just have to keep telling myself that.
