Fact Friday: Sunlight and Vitamin D

To get Vitamin D, you need to stand in the sun for 20 minutes with bare skin. This is definitely the complete opposite of the message we get about melanoma, sun screen, covering up and staying out of the sun.

After having my blood work done and finding out I need a little boost in my Vitamin D intake, I’ve been trying to find out how to get my numbers up a bit. I’ve started taking a supplement and it’s amazing. I’ve felt a difference in my energy levels in just three short days.

I will find out in three months how the supplements are helping. Hopefully, my numbers will be lifted.
